Damien C. Cox, 39, of Bloomsburg, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his home.
Born in Danville on September 7, 1978, he was the son of Dodie McHenry of Bloomsburg, and the late Ronald Cox. He attended Columbia Montour Vo-Tech School, and was employed by Marc Massett Construction.
Damien enjoyed fishing, and was an avid Oakland Rader’s fan. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, especially when they would go on camping trips.
In addition to his mother, he will be greatly missed by his companion of 8 years, Nikki Scott; son, Jeremy Saxton; daughters, Serenity Deitrick; Keira Cox; and Isabella Cox. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, Rochelle Cox, Bloomsburg, and Danielle Calabrette, Berwick; nieces and nephews, Tanner Cox; Miley and Braycen Seltzer; Maizie and Trinity Rooth; and Faith Calabrette; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Sharon (Lawler) Cox; and aunt, Michelle Cox.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
