Donald E. “Eddie” Densberger, 72, of Nescopeck, passed away on Tuesday October 26, 2021, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born on July 2, 1949, in Muncy he was a son of the late Roy W. and Frances A. (Cornelius) Densberger. He attended Central High School. Eddie worked as a carpenter for many local businesses including Hi-tech Incorporated, Bloomsburg Auto Auction and Kissinger Floors.
Eddie was a member of Knapp Lodge 462 F&AM, Berwick. He was also a social member of the Berwick VFW Post 821. He liked to collect classic cars and had a great number of them over the years, currently he had a 1966 mustang. He enjoyed travelling and saw many places throughout the world.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia (Baer) Densberger, at home; sons, Donald E. Densberger II and companion Beth, Berwick; Paul E. Densberger, Nescopeck; grandchildren, Damian, Dakota, Devin, Mykyla, and Cheyenne; great granddaughter, Ryleigh. He also leaves behind brothers, David Densberger and wife Debra, Berwick; Jake Piatt, Berwick; daughter-in-law, Linda Densberger, Berwick; sister-in-laws, Susan Densberger, Berwick; Marilyn Densberger, Berwick.
A viewing will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in Eddie’s name.
