Ronald L. Jumper, Sr., 75, of Berwick, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on November 16, 1946, he was a son of the late Harry C. and P. Joyce (Hunter) Jumper. He graduated from Nescopeck High School. Ronald served in the United States Navy as a C.B. during the Vietnam War. In his younger years he worked as a carpenter and later worked as a police officer for the Bloomsburg police department for 31 years.
Ronald was a member of the Berwick Lions clubs. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also practiced karate.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Mary E. (Yachimowski) Jumper, at home; son, Ronald Jumper, Jr. and fiancé Pam, Mount Carmel.
Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
