John K. Ohl

John K. Ohl, 60, of Nescopeck, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at his home, surrounded by family.

Born in Fullerton, CA on January 28, 1961, he was a son of the late Harold “Ray” R. and Beverly M. (Bloom) Ohl. He attended Central Columbia High School. John was self-employed as an over the road truck driver his entire life.

He was a member of the American Ukrainian Club, Berwick. John enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He liked to hang out with his friends and his new puppy, Harley, whom he adored. His greatest joy in life was spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Linda L. (Gacha) Ohl; children, Brandy L. Bertollo and husband Mark, Berwick; Angela T. Erlacher, Nescopeck; Carla L. Erlacher, Nescopeck; John K. Ohl, Jr. and wife Sue, Bloomsburg; Misti R. Slusser and husband Frankie, Berwick; Jennifer K. Weaver and husband Tim, Berwick; niece Erika Ransom and husband Robert, Texas, whom he helped raise; grandchildren, Kiersten, Justin, Brielle, Jaelyn, Noah, Leah, Zander, Landon, Malik, Zion, and Uzziah. He also leaves behind sisters, Jodi Fish and husband Lloyd, Berwick; Linda J. Ohl and companion Karen, Pittsburgh; Brenda L. Ohl, Berwick; brothers, Scott Ohl and wife Lisa, Berwick; Bradley Ohl, Berwick; Jeffery Ohl and wife Melinda, Berwick; brother-in-law, Barry Drasher; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Drasher.

At his request there will be no services. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is entrusted with arrangements.
