Barbara A. (Fowler) Brosky, 79, of Berwick, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab, Sunbury.
Born in Berwick on October 24, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Clara (Housel) and Leroy Fowler, Sr. She attended Berwick area schools. Barbara worked at Consolidated Cigar for a few years. Her biggest and best job was a homemaker where she worked hard to provide a loving home for her family.
Barbara was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Berwick. She was a member of the Eagle Hose Fire Company, Berwick and a social member of the Berwick VFW Post 821. She liked to play the lottery and won a few times. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and vegetables. Her greatest joy in life was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who where her world.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sheryl Galler and fiancé Dan Trombley, Berwick; son, Harrison Karns, Jr., Berwick; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind sisters, Charlotte Lipsey; Holly Young and husband Russ; Ruth Mackert; Gertrude Kinney and husband John; brothers, Leroy Fowler, Jr.; Gerald Fowler and wife Cookie; Dave Fowler and wife Wendy; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home or her family to help defray her final expenses. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
