Born August 18, 1951, in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Caroline (Skipalis) Jones. He was raised in Fairless Hills, PA by his grandparents, the late Anthony and Elizabeth Skipalis. GARY was not afraid of hard work. In 1968, he entered the US Navy and served until 1970, during the Vietnam War. After an honorable discharge, he became a truck driver, driving for Benjamin Moore Paint Co. in Jacksonville FL.

In 1975, he married the love of his life, Janet M (Heath) Jones and they began their lives together. In 2000, they moved back to Pennsylvania and settled in Millville. He then worked as a driver for Walmart out of Woodland, PA, retiring in 2016. At the time of his retirement, he had logged over 5 million safe driver miles.

GARY loved his family neighbors and friends. He was always telling stories, jokes and laughing. He loved watching football and was an avid Jacksonville Jaguars fan. He liked chilling on his deck at home and grilling his favorite “round steaks”. He decorated with lights all year around especially at Christmas time.

He will be greatly missed by his loving “girls”, wife Janet of 46 years; and daughter, Colette Kishbaugh and husband Robert Jr, Wapwallopen; he is also survived by his son, Paul Jones, Longview, WA; sisters, Ida Mae Friedhofer and husband Tim, Fairless Hills; Bonnie Duffy and husband Kevin, Levittown; Kim Croul and husband Brian, Morrisville.
