Mildred L. (Zerfoss) Myers, 99, of Mountain Top, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Born in Nanticoke on January 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Edith (Rinehimer) Zerfoss. Mildred attended school in Dorrance Township and worked at Wise Potato Chips for many years.
Mildred attended Emmanuel Church of Christ, Dorrance. She had a great sense of humor and a strong will.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert A. Myers; son, Dennis Myers; and sisters, Arlene Rinehimer and Doris Yurchak.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Ronald Myers and wife Marilyn; grandchildren, Kimberly Ayers and husband John; Karin Wojcik and husband Steve; Kelly Haffner and husband Fritz; Kevin Myers and wife Michelle; Krista Douglas; Greg Myers and wife Sara; 12 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third St, Nescopeck, with Pastor Louis Aita officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
