Michael J. Buck, 50, of Berwick, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home. He spent his final day on Easter with his family and playing with his grandchildren.
Born in Berwick on August 31, 1971, he was the son of James and Sandra (Basala) Buck of Berwick. He attended Berwick High School and graduated in 1989. Most recently, he worked at C&D and was a member of the BAC Local 5 Union.
Michael was an avid Steelers fan. He followed Nascar for a while, his favorite driver was Dale Ernhardt. He also enjoyed hiking, hunting, and anything that involved the outdoors. As a kid, he played in the little league and teen league baseball. He enjoyed coaching his children in wrestling, football, and softball. In his later years, Michael enjoyed spending time with his two grandchildren and travelling with his girlfriend Jodi.
He will be greatly missed by his girlfriend Jodi Kriner, with whom he spent 6 years; daughter, Kayla Green and her husband Corey, Stillwater; son, Tyler Buck, Berwick; grandchildren, Jayda and Cameron Green; sister, Michelle Buck and her companion Mark Massina, Berwick; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Buck; niece, Chastity Buck; and grandparents, Michael and Anna Basala; and Carl and Victoria Buck.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
A celebration of his life will follow at 5:00 pm at Good Shephard Lutheran Church, 1600 Fowler Avenue, Berwick.
