Chequita Taylor, 59, of Hanover Township, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Alabama on September 20, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Franklin (Key) Cherch. She graduated from Dora High School, AL. She was a prep cook at Shoney’s while living in Alabama. In 2013 she moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family.
Chequita was a member of Valley View Church of Christ, AL. She enjoyed researching the family tree and liked collecting NASCAR memorabilia. She always left her family wondering what she was up to, while still figuring out what she just did.
She is survived by daughter, Miranda White, Hanover Twp; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and brother, Kenneth Cherch, AL.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Melissa K. Cherch.
At Chequita’s request there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck.
