Ray A. Hunsinger

Ray A. Hunsinger, age 73, formerly of Mifflinville Township, went to be with his Lord and Savior. He passed away at The Gardens at Orangeville on August 26, 2022. Ray was born on May 27, 1949, to the late Carl W. and Margaret M. (Breach) Hunsinger. He graduated from Central Columbia High School, class of 1967. He worked on the family farm before going to work at Magee Carpet Company as a stenographer. He then enlisted in the US Army where he was stationed in Korea and was later transferred to the Pentagon where he stayed for the next 10 years. He then moved to Missouri where he lived for the next 35 years. Upon retirement, he returned to Pennsylvania. He was a member of Christ the King Church, Benton. Ray was a very outgoing and social person who was well liked by others. He loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit areas all over the world. He will be greatly missed by his brothers, Paul and wife Barbara; Lee and wife Miriam; David and wife GraceAnn; Glen and wife Pam; sisters, Lois and companion Robert; Doris; Nancy and husband Mark; Sally and husband John; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Katheryn; brother-in-law, James; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; 1 great-great nephew. At Ray’s request all services will be private.
