Dorree “Pee Wee” L. Whitenight, 56, of Berwick, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 7, 2022, in her home.
Born in Bloomsburg on September 21, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Barbara A. Derr and Donald L. Whitenight. She graduated from Columbia Montour Vo-Tech in Bloomsburg. For most of her life, she worked for Wise Potato Chips. More recently, she worked at Berwick Liquidators.
Dorree belonged to many clubs such as The Russian Club, The American Ukrainian Citizen’s Club (Old Man’s Club), and the Slavonic American Club (SAC). She enjoyed going to flea markets. She also enjoyed antiquing and gardening. Although she did not have children of her own, she loved children and was “Auntie Pee Wee” to all.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings: Donnette Temple, Danville; Diane Whitenight, Danville; Dennis Whitenight, Bloomsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
