Leanna M. (DiPasquale) Welch
Leanna M. (DiPasquale) Welch, 74, of Berwick passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Gardens of Orangeville.
Born in Berwick on March 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Ellen (Remley) and Louis DiPasquale. She graduated from Berwick Highschool in 1966 and continued to nursing school where she earned her master’s in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at Berwick Hospital for over 40 years.
Leanna enjoyed going to Atlantic City and playing bingo in her free time, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Robert Welch; Anna Welch; and Richard Welch Jr.; grandchildren, Kendra Snyder; Jordan Welch; Symone Chase; Clayton Welch; Hunter Welch; Monica Welch; and Mackenzie Thrash. Leanna was looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild in the spring. She also leaves behind brothers, Gaetano DiPasquale and wife Bernadette, Havertown; Louis DiPasquale and wife Deborah, Stroudsburg; Joseph DiPasquale and wife Debra, Lebanon; Mark DiPasquale and wife Cheryl, Warrensburg NY; sisters, Mary Miller, Richmond, VA; Connie DiPasquale, Berwick; Theresa Hampton and husband Steven, Berwick; sister-in-law, Karol DiPasquale and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Jo DiPasquale; Jane Weaver; and brother, Michael DiPasquale.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until time of service.
