Pamela M. (Beers) Sanchez, 52, of Mifflin Township passed away suddenly on January 1, 2023, at her home.
Born in Phillipsburg, NJ on October 5, 1970, she was a daughter of Catherine M. (Bush) Longenberger of Catawissa and the late Gilbert P. Beers. She was a graduate of Warren Hills Regional High School, NJ class of 1989. She continued her education at Luzerne County Community College where she earned her nursing degree. Pamela always loved caring for others, beginning as a Candy Striper and later as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and finally as a Nurse’s assistant with Comfort Keepers.
Pamela recently became an ordained minister. She loved watching the walking dead and zombie movies. She liked ghost hunting and anything paranormal. She also enjoyed playing video games.
She met Antonio Sanchez in April of 2003, and they were married on November 20, 2004. She will be dearly missed by him as well as her mother and daughter, Anastasia Kulp (7), at home. She is also survived by a daughter, Katie Sloane; and 19 siblings including Cindy Garmong of Colorado and Christine Weir, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father Gilbert, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles L. Witte.
A Celebration of Life will be held in April.
