Terry Lynn (Gregory) Blewett, age 68, of Salem Township passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Benton Township on August 13, 1954, she was on of 11 children born to the late Clyde “Duke” and Dora E. (Rosengrant) Gregory. In her younger years, Terry was employed at Milco Industries, Berwick. Later, while a devoted mother raising her children, she worked as a Home Interior Representative for over 10 years. Once her children were grown, she worked at Big Lots in Bloomsburg.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mifflinville. She liked playing games and looked forward to visits with her best friend, Emily McCacken and their daily coffee and scrabble matches. She enjoyed camping in the summer with her husband and granddaughter. Her favorite thing was visits with her great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 50 years, Jon C. Blewett; daughters, Marilyn Blevins and husband William, Lansing, NC; Michele Schnaufer and husband Tim, Berwick; cherished grandchildren, Lynde Tolan and husband Sean, Bloomsburg; David Remaley and wife Kristen, Berwick; Justyce Schnaufer, Berwick; Lawrence Schnaufer and wife Courtney, Berwick; and treasured great grandchildren, Jaxson and Nova Remaley. She was looking forward to the birth of another great grandchild, Elias Remaley, this July. She also leaves behind sisters, Evelyn Brigham, York; Sandra Lewis Ross and husband James, Montrose; brothers, Clyde “Rick” Gregory and wife Robin, Falls; Ronald Gregory and wife Sharon, Montrose; Jeffrey Gregory and wife Dianna, Montrose; James Gregory, York; Donald “Peachy” Gregory, South Carolina; Mark Gregory and wife Debbie, Montrose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Bonnie Gregory and Dora Tyson; and brother-in-law, Michael Brigham.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third St, Nescopeck with Elder Sandro Sorge officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick, 1409 N. Market St, Berwick, PA 18603.
