April L. Vencak, age 62, of Fairmont Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at home.
Born in Berwick on April 27, 1961, she was a daughter of Preston Hampton of Millville and the late Sally (Eyerley) Siry. She graduated from Berwick High School, class of 1979. She worked at Thompson Mailing, Bloomsburg and Collins Tools, Stillwater.
April enjoyed antiquing and yard sales. She dedicated a lot of her time to taking care of her two dogs, Shy and Bella. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she will be greatly missed by her husband, John J. Vencak; daughter, Brandi L. Vencak, Benton; son, John J. Vencak and wife Kallie, Berwick; grandchildren, Madison Crane; Taryn Vencak; Wyatt Wargo; Waylan Vencak; Zander Vencak; Alecsa Vencak, Malana Vencak; and great-grandchild, Kaison. She also leaves behind brothers, Preston and Clayton Hampton, West Conshohocken; Lewis Estes, Chicago; several nieces and nephews; and her companion, Michael Wargo, Benton.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy McHenry.
A celebration of life will be held starting at 2:00 PM on June 4, 2023, at American Ukrainian Citizen’s Club, 1222 Freas Ave, Berwick.
