Robert K. Mowery II “Bunk”, age 51, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Berwick on December 2, 1971, he is the son of Robert K. and Carol L. (Remley) Mowery of Berwick. Bunk attended Berwick High School and was self employed as a mason in new construction and home remodeling for many years.
He greatly enjoyed working with his hands and one of his favorite hobbies was stone carving. He used his creativity to make many different items which he often gave away as gifts. His favorite saying was “never a problem, only a solution”.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his daughters, Madelyn and Emma Mowery, Berwick; sisters, Kimberly Sipler and husband Christopher Lindsay, Berwick; Angela Hummel and companion Joseph Meyers, Berwick; brother, Joshua Mowery and wife Emily, Berwick; nieces and nephews, Courtney Hummel and companion Matthew Brown; Allie Sipler; Ryker Mowery; and Molly Mowery; great nephew, Beckham Brown; maternal grandmother, Mary Remley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Terry Remley; paternal grandparents, Elwood and Dorothy Mowery; and a nephew, Mitchell Hummel.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck with Pastor Robert Klingerman officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
