Clark O. Brown, age 95, of Nescopeck Township passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital.
Born in Nescopeck Township on August 15, 1928, he was a son of the late Wilmer F and Marie W (Sitler) Brown. He was a graduate of Nescopeck High School, class of 1946. Clark worked full-time on his own dairy farm in Nescopeck for many years before taking a full-time position at Wise Foods in Berwick. During his time at Wise, he still operated the farm part-time.
Aside from the dairy farm, Clark spent many hours in his orchard where he grew apples and plums. In his younger years, he also enjoyed hunting. He was a member of Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nescopeck.
Clark will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 70 years, Shirley (Hauze) Brown, as well as his children, Blake Brown and wife Beth, Nescopeck; Tammy Logan and husband Craig, Willow, AK; cherished grandchildren, Rachael Thorne and husband Justin; Marie Bisconti and husband Anthony; adored great grandchildren, Emma and Abigail Thorne; and Roman Bisconti. He also leaves behind a brother, Richard Brown, Nescopeck; sisters, Jeannette Richart, Delaware; and Elaine “Judy” Yeager and husband David, Sugarloaf, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale, Alvin, and Earl Brown; and sister, Norma “Peg” Karchner.
Due to health concerns, there will be no viewing or luncheon. Everyone is welcome to attend a graveside service at 1:30 pm on Friday, September 1, 2023, in Mt Zion Cemetery, 150 Church Rd, Nescopeck Township. Reverend Daniel Warntz will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Evangelical Lutheran Church, 807 East Third St, Nescopeck, PA 18635, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
