Kenneth H. Boston, 85, of Fishing Creek Twp, passed away Wednesday September 13,2023 in the comfort of his home.
Born in Kingston Twp on July 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Herbert Boston and Laura B. (Swine) Boston. He graduated from Berwick High School and continued his education at South Eastern, Lakeland Fl. He later attended Assembly of God Grad School in Missouri where he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Ministry.
Kenneth served in the US Navy for 4 years. He was a Minister at Sunshine Full Gospel in Shickshinny for many years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed spending time at the church and fishing in his free time.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Danyale Zink and Husband Joe, Berwick; Dushawna Boston, Orangeville; grandchildren, Kenneth Mackert, Krystan Kyttle, Kendra Mensch; great grandchildren, Adrianna, Eden, Ryker and Camden; His 8 Siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Joyce L. (Albertson) Boston; son Kenneth “Kenny” A. Boston; his second mother Myrtle (Swire) Boston; brothers, Bob, Henry, and Glen; sister, Virginia; stepbrothers, Alan and David; stepsisters, Alice and Alma.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday September 19, 2023, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third Street, Nescopeck, immediately followed by a memorial service.
Interment in Jonestown Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
Due to allergies, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E. Third Street, Nescopeck, PA 18635 to help defray his final expenses.
