Robert J. Smith Jr., age 21, of Benton, passed away unexpectedly on March 01, 2024, at his home.
Born in Berwick on April 1, 2002, he was the son of Robert and Cara (Renaud) Smith of Benton. He attended West Side Vo tech. Robert was a packing associate for Altium for a while.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed taking walks and hiking in the woods. When he wasn’t doing one of those, he could be found target shooting, or playing video games. He was a member of the Sportsman Club in Mocanaqua.
In addition to his parents, he will be greatly missed by his sister, Lilliann Smith, Benton; maternal grandparent, Sharon Beyer; paternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Smith; many aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great uncle David Hilley.
At the family’s request there will be no public services at this time.
