Sally A. Zeiser, age 87, passed away Friday March 1, 2024, at her home.
Born in Nescopeck, on April 07, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Edgar “Ted” and Gertrude (Thomas) Fenstermacher. She was a graduate of Nescopeck High School. She worked as a laborer at Consolidated Cigar, Berwick and later worked for Columbia County Conservation Office.
Sally was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Nescopeck where she played piano and organ for Sunday services and weddings. Later she was attended Mifflin United Methodist Church for a while.
She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. When she wasn’t doing that, she really liked antiquing and looking into genealogy. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with all her grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her son, David A. Zeiser and companion Donnette Grandbois, CT; daughter Deborah L. Potter, Nescopeck; daughter-in-law, Kathy Lynn, Nescopeck; grandchildren, Shaun Hartzel and wife Katrina; Travis Potter and wife Chelsea; Chelsea Mensinger and husband Seth; Garrett Potter and girlfriend Maggie Erdman; Ethan Potter and girlfriend Ravein Rosenbaum; Aaron Lynn; Rachel Lynn; David Lynn; Jared Lynn; and Katie Finch and husband Richard; and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Leonard L. Lynn and Brian J. Lynn; son-in-law Benjamin E. Potter; and grandson, Chad Nicholas Potter.
Family will receive friends Friday March 15, 2024, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck, PA. Memorial service immediately following.
