Yvonne “Bonnie” Kishbaugh, age 87, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Glen Brook Rehab and Health Care, with her family by her side.
Born at home in Nescopeck on September 14, 1936, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Cleo M. (Beish) Pettit. She was a graduate of Nescopeck High School, class of 1954. Through the years, she worked at Rea & Derick Drug Store, Berwick Gas Company and Newberry’s. For many years, she was employed at Berwick School District where she worked in the cafeteria, as well as Berwick Retirement Village. Prior to retirement she worked in the business office at the Berwick Hospital.
Bonnie was an active member of Good Shephard Lutheran Church, Berwick. Her greatest love was taking care of her children and grandchildren.
In 1959, she married Monty D. Kishbaugh, they were married for 39 years before his passing on November 21, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Eric R Schloyer; sister, Ruth L Hunsinger; and brother, Wayne G. Pettit.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Bobbi Jo Broyles and husband Charles, Bloomsburg; Beth Ann Fedder and husband William, Berwick; grandchildren, Steven J Schloyer, Haleigh A Fedder; brother, John E Pettit and wife Gloria, Dunellen Fl; and several nieces, nephews; and all of her friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Berwick, with her pastor, Reverend Troy Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1600 Fowler Avenue, Berwick, PA 18603.
