JACQUELINE MAE (BOYLES) WILLIAMS

It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Mae (Boyles) Williams, a loving wife and mother, devoted friend, cherished grandmother, and a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.

Jacqueline, affectionately known as Jackie, embraced life with enthusiasm and grace, finding joy in the simple pleasures and spreading warmth to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a life well-lived. Her great passion was supporting her children in all of their sports.

Jackie, born December 9,1935 to William and Arlene (Santee) Boyles, left this world on April 25, 2024, with her husband by her side, to join her son Kirk, who preceded her in death in 2014.

On August 7th, 1954, she was married to the love of her life, Stanley Williams, who survives her. Being together almost 70 years, they built their life around raising their children. Still surviving are their children Melissa Bartlow, Dr. Mark Williams and his wife Nicole, and Ty Williams and his wife Brenda, all of Bloomsburg.

Jackie was a member of the graduating class of 1953 in Nescopeck. In her younger years, Jackie worked in her mother’s restaurant, Arlene’s, in Nescopeck, she also did clerical work at AC&F in Berwick for several years. She was a courier for Schultz Electroplating for several years. Working with her husband, she was co-owner of Bassett’s Restaurant, Boston Farms Jelly Factory and Susquehanna Valley Investment Group. She was also a member of the Berwick Order of Eastern Star.

Her greatest role was being a homemaker and successfully raising four children. Her caring and giving nature was always evident when committed to her family. She took great pride in their accomplishments.

Besides her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Boyles, a son, Kirk Williams, and son-in-law Rollie Bartlow.

Her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort to those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
