Charles E. Roach, age 71, of Berwick passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his home.
Born in Beverly, NJ on December 2, 1952, he was a son of the late Claire (Burroughs) and John Roach Sr. He attended Burlington City High School and served honorably in the US Marine Corps from 1972 to 1974. For many years he worked at the Burlington Coat Factory warehouse in New Jersey.
Charles enjoyed being outside, whether he was working in his garden and taking care of his yard or sitting on the porch and waiving “hello” to the neighbors.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of nearly 32 years, Jill A. (Johnson) Roach; stepson, David A. Johnson and wife Jennifer, Berwick; grandchildren, David Johnson-Salmons; Angelica Zuber; Dominic Johnson; Anastasia Johnson; and Rylie Welsh; 5 great grandchildren, Alec, Aerilyn, Cyrus, Raiden, and Scarlet. He also leaves behind sisters, Cheryl Timbers, NJ; Claire Morris, Bloomsburg; Judy Broach, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Roach Jr; sister, Diane Greene; and niece, Shawnda Greene.
A memorial service to be held in New Jersey is being planned for a future date.
