James E. Kishbaugh, age 93, of Berwick passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his home, surrounded by family.
Born in Berwick on September 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Elwood and Julia W. (Jamison) Kishbaugh. He was a graduate of Nescopeck High School, class of 1949. Shortly thereafter, Jim enlisted in the United States Army serving honorably until 1952. He was employed for Ray Yorks & Sons for almost 30 years before retiring.
He was a member at Living Hope Community Church, Nescopeck. Jim enjoyed watching old movies and old westerns. He loved playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever he got the chance.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 72 years, Betty J. (Mahler) Kishbaugh; daughter, Kathy Lechleitner and husband Mark, Hershey; grandchildren, Tara Lechleitner; Brett Lechleitner and wife Lynn; Brad Lechleitner and wife Katie; great grandchildren, Hailey Lechleitner; Avery & Taylor Lechleitner; Brennan, Patrick and William “Fitz” Lechleitner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louanne Drozic.
At Jim’s request there will be no services. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is entrusted with arrangements.
