Glen A. Perone, age 39, of New Columbus passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at his home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on September 10, 1984, he was the son of the late Glen A. and Sandra L. (Reichert) Perone. He was a graduate of Crestwood High School, class of 2003. He was employed at Red Rock Job Corps Training Center.
Glen was a volunteer firefighter for the Huntington Mills Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman and spent some time hunting. He was an animal lover.
He will be greatly missed by his brothers, Lonnie Rader and wife Jami, Bellefountaine, OH; Randy Rader and wife Meg, Mt Top; Lee Rader and wife Gail, Mt Top; nieces and nephews, Lucas, Mason, Kaitlin and husband Steven, Jordan, Addison, Jonathan, Austin, Rylee, Brody, Brielle, MaKenna, Megan, Alex, several aunts, uncles; and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Forrest Rader, 4 sisters in infancy, grandmother, Margaret Reichert, and uncle, Edward Reichert.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday June 14, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 E. Third Street, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm until time of service.
