Dawn M. Farver, age 91, of Berwick passed away July 3, 2024, at Marywood Heights Nursing Home, Scranton.
Born in Danville on March 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Marlin C. and Martha E. (Space) Weiser. She attended Danville High School. After graduating she enrolled in nursing school at Geisinger. Later she worked for Berwick Industries for many years.
She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. She enjoyed learning new things, she took a class for upholstering furniture and liked baking. Dawn was a devoted wife and mother, always making sure the family was well provided for and loved unconditionally.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Joseph Farver, Berwick; daughters, Beth Vaughn and husband Curtis, Berwick; Kelly Kindig and husband William, Millville; Gail Farver, Danville; daughter-in-law, Denise Farver; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband over 70 years, Joseph T. Farver; son, Thomas Farver and her brother Craig Weiser.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday July 11, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service.
