Sharie A. Botsford, age 80, formerly of Nescopeck passed away on August 21, 2024, in Clermont, Florida, where she resided for the past two years.
Born at home, in Nescopeck, she was the daughter of the late Vivian “VJ” J. and Maude A. (Ridall) Douthat. She was a graduate of Nescopeck High School, class of 1961. She worked for the District Court for 17 years, handling non-traffic citations. She loved her job and working for Richard Cashman.
She loved riding on her jazzy and waving to her neighbors, attending farmers markets, and watching mystery shows on tv.
She will be greatly missed by her three children and four grandchildren, Edmund Botsford and wife Billie, Berwick; Eleanor Botsford, Sarasota FL; Andrew Botsford and wife Janine, Clermont Fl; grandchildren, Eric Botsford; Bryce Botsford; Joseph Favata and wife Abby; Abigail Favata Salmons and husband Brent. Also survived by her siblings Emma Jane Lynn and husband Ernie, and Pete “Jesse” Douthat and wife Mary Ann, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seth Leon Botsford.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on September 27, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck with Pastor Bill Conrad officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
