Nancy E. Rinehimer, age 86, lifelong resident of Slocum Township passed away on November 17, 2024, at home.
Born in Nanticoke on December 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Madge (Fairchild) Rinehimer. She graduated from Newport Township High School and furthered her education in nursing school, earning her degree as a registered nurse. Nancy worked for Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia for many years before retiring.
Nancy enjoyed going out to eat and being around people. She watched QVC in her free time, but her favorite hobby was shopping. She was a member of Stairville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother Carlton Rinehimer, Allentown; and two nephews. She also leaves behind her caregiver and best friend, Austin Douglas.
A funeral service will be held at Heller Funeral Home, LLC Nescopeck on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 11:00am. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Slocum Cemetery.
