Aurora Lynn Rowlands, 31, of Danville passed away quietly at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Tulsa, OK on February 24, 1993, she was the daughter of Lisa M Kinney of Danville and Jack L Rowlands of Kentucky.
Aurora was baptized at St Joseph Catholic Church, Berwick. As a Mosaic Trisomy 22 syndrome baby, she fought hard to overcome the limited expectations doctors had for her since birth. She had her own special way of communicating with those she loved.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Jackie L. Rowlands Jr and fiancée Kayla, Washington; and Brandon S. Rowlands and fiancée Lisa, Tennessee; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred and James Descul; and Gertrude Rowlands.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on January 4, 2025, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 730 Washington St, Berwick with Reverend William Barbee officiating.
