Linda Lou Frankford, age 83, passed away on January 31, 2025, after a tough 9-year battle with cancer.
Born on November 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mrytle (Fromm) Stump. She married her husband Eugene, on September 23, 1941. They had 56 years of marriage together, until Eugenes passing on September 5, 2017.
Linda was a member of Shiloh Bible Church, Almedia. She loved going to church and loved her church family. She loved to travel and going for breakfast, especially Hoboken in Benton, and she would visit with all her friends there. She was also a card giver for whatever holiday, she always made sure she sent a card. She was a great picture taker and saved so many memories. She was a great cook and always made sure there was a home cooked meal on the table.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Kathi Shaffer and husband David, Bloomsburg; sons, Scott Frankford and wife Brenda, Berwick; and Todd Frankford and wife Donna, Berwick; grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel and Robyn; sisters, Judy Zimmerman, Ephrata; Sherry Field, Myerstown; brother, Dwight “Butch” Stump and wife Loretta, New Mont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Linda’s request there will be no public services. Heller Funeral Home LLC, Nescopeck is entrusted with arrangements.
