Bonnie L. Bandics, age 77, of Berwick passed away on Sunday April 13, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Berwick on August 19, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Bandics Sr., and Mary Ann (Kynik) Bandics. For many years Bonnie worked in the restaurant industry; while living in Florida she was the owner and proprietor of her own restaurant “Bonnie’s Pantry”, after moving back to the area in the late 1980’s she held various positions and most recently worked in home health.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Berwick. Bonnie loved cooking, baking and doing crafts. She loved animals, especially cats, of which she had many over the years and devoted much of her time caring for. She always found time for others, and had a way of making people feel special.
She will be missed by her daughter, Shauna Chapman and husband Bryan, Florida; grandchildren, Terra Gibbs, Patrick Morrissey III, and Kirra Morrissey; and her brother, Edward J. Bandics, Jr., and wife Janet, Bethlehem.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Social Hall, 1600 Fowler Ave, Berwick.
