Douglas “Dougie” Buck, age 73, passed away on April 19, 2025, surrounded by his little boys, Shelby Young, Trevor Young and Family.
Dougie was well known at SUNCOM, Columbia Motors, the Garage and most recently the Gardens of Millville.
Dougie talked to everyone about his black truck that was always out of gas or broken. He was a collector of anything someone gave him. His most favorite holidays were “Santa” and the “Easter Bunny”. The halls of the Gardens of Millville became his favorite place to greet everyone. He was loved by so many there.
Thank you to the Gardens and Commonwealth Hospice for your compassion and love for Dougie. A special thank you to the Gardens for allowing Dougie to call his boys when he just needed to hear their voice and giving him the best years there.
The family asks that you always show compassion, kindness and love to everyone.
Dougie will always be remembered by “Give’m a kick”, “That’ll Hurt”, and the biggest hat he could find.
