Ruby A. Lawall, age 89, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Bloomsburg, on December 10, 1935, she was the last living of 4 children born to the late G. Frank and Daisy A. (Yeager) Moyle. She was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, class of 1953. For many years, Ruby worked as a server at Tuggy’s Restaurant in Mifflinville, and prior to retiring, she was employed at MPS Preservation, Lime Ridge.
Ruby was a long-time member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Berwick, more recently, she enjoyed attending bible study through Shiloh Bible Church. She valued the old and new friendships she formed through the years. She liked spending her time working on jigsaw puzzles and going to yard sales. Ruby also loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, and sipping on a Wendy’s frosty.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. LaWall in 2005; a son, Michael Talanca; brothers, Ralph and John Moyle; and a sister, Violet Moyle.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Michelle Michael and husband Bruce, Berwick; grandchildren, Brooke Michael and Brandon Michael; great grandchildren, Tyler Kline, Makenna Traugh and Ellianna Traugh; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
