Zella M. Cleaver, 80, of Orangeville passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Maria Hall, Danville.
Born in Fishing Creek Township on August 15, 1937 she was a daughter of the late George W. and Ester M. (Laubaugh) Wilson. She was a graduate of Benton High School, class of 1955, and was employed at several local factories over the years. After retiring, she worked at the Salvation Army Store and later, in the deli at Weis Market in Bloomsburg.
Zella participated in league bowling at P-Nut Bowl with her late husband Fred. She was a strong woman who left a wonderful legacy to her family, as well as many delightful memories.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Cheryl Blewett and husband William, Bloomsburg; Michelle Farver and husband Steven “Butch”, Unityville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Cleaver, Jr. this past January; as well as all of her siblings, Richard “Dick” Wilson; Alfred S. Wilson; Mary Alice Semons; Joseph A. Wilson; Christine Mae Wilson; and Steven Wilson.
In keeping with Zella’s wishes all services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is assisting her family.
