John F. Bronick, Jr

John F. Bronick, Jr, 62, of Benton, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at The Gardens at Orangeville, where he was a patient for the past month.

Born on March 3, 1955 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John W. Bronick and the former Antoinette Yavorsky. He was raised and educated in Detroit, Michigan and after graduation, attended a trade school in Pennsylvania where he became a certified Machinist and Tool/Die maker. John retired from Del Monte Foods, Bloomsburg, where he worked since its opening, helping to set up and install machines, and later with maintenance.

In his spare time, he loved to go hunting and take trips to the Outer Banks. He had a passion for collecting cars and clocks. John considered his close friends to be his family.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Melissa K. (Titman) Bronick, with whom he spent the past 6 years; step children, Kenneth McLaughlin and wife Josie, Shickshinny; Matthew McLaughlin, Benton; Megan Webster, Berwick; and 7 step-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and his Aunt Francine.

At John’s request, there will be no public services. A private celebration of life will be held at the Jamison City Hotel at the convenience of his family.
