Debra M. (Heckman) Cabral, 64, of Berwick, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at St. Thomas Post-Acute and Rehabilitation.
Born in Bloomsburg on August 21, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Jayne (Boone) Heckman. She graduated from Columbia-Montour Vo-tech. Debra worked as a nurse’s aide at Berwick Hospital Center and later at Berwick Retirement Village.
She was a former member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading books about religion. She also liked to knit.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 46 years, Frank J. Cabral, Jr., at home; daughter, April Acor and husband Todd, Danville; son, Joseph Cabral, Danville; grandchildren, Matthew, Adrianna, and Ariel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Davenport.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third Street, Nescopeck. Interment will follow at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
