Thomas E. “Tommy” Rinehimer Jr.

Thomas E. “Tommy” Rinehimer Jr, 42, of Salem Township passed away suddenly on November 11, 2022.

Born in Berwick on May 12, 1980, he was the son of the Thomas E. and Kathy J. (Whitmire) Rinehimer of Salem Township. He graduated from Columbia Montour Vo-Tech in 1998. He drove trucks for Kevin Ryman Trucking, and later worked for Riverview Block, Pocono Transcrete, Central Builders, and Jim Knorr Excavating. In 2018, he opened Rinehimer Landscaping Supply.

Tommy loved buying and rebuilding trucks, especially Diamond Reos. He was a hard worker and a caring son, husband, and father.

In 2016, he married Angela E. (Cole) Rinehimer. They were looking forward to celebrating their seventh anniversary this February.

In addition to his parents, Kathy and Tom, and wife, Ang, he will be greatly missed by his son, Ethan Rinehimer; sister, Amy Knowles and her son Evan Knowles; aunts and uncles, Wayne Whitmire, Nescopeck; David Whitmire and wife Renee, Nescopeck; Wanda Adams and husband Michael, Berwick; Faye Shields and husband David, Berwick; Patsy Hill and husband Roger, Berwick; Randy Rinehimer and wife Molly, Berwick; and many cousins. He also leaves behind grandparents, Duane Whitmire and wife Mary Jane, Berwick; and a step grandfather, Chester Lemonowicz, Glen Lyon.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Lemonowicz; and Donald and Shirley Rinehimer.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 East Third St, Nescopeck. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening and from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
