Robert M. Boston, age 69, of Salem Township passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at his home.
Born in Berwick on October 4, 1953, he was a son of the late Donald and Patricia (Nash) Boston. He graduated from Berwick High School, class of 1971. Starting at the age of 10, Bob worked at Golomb’s greenhouses, Nescopeck. Later, he was employed at the Forge and most recently, he worked at Berwick Industries for 30 years until he retired.
Bob was a “Jack of All Trades”. He enjoyed working on many projects, especially building his own home. He also did a lot of work maintaining the private road he lived on and spent many hours cutting wood to burn for his heat. Bob was friends with most of his neighbors, including Rich and Don, and enjoyed having a beer with them. He was a devoted husband and excellent role model and father.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Linda K (Davis) Boston with whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this June. He also leaves behind a son, Robert Boston and wife Jodi, Berwick; brothers, Donny Boston and wife Connie, Florida; Randy Boston and wife Denise, Berwick; a sister, Bonnie Crays and husband Dave, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Adam Boston in 2011.
At Bob’s request, there will be no services.
