Kathy I. Yost, age 69, of Summerhill passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center Danville.
Born in Bloomsburg on February 27, 1954, she was a daughter of the late William R and Kathleen M (Welliver) Yost. She attended Central High School and worked as a dietitian at a mental health facility in Selinsgrove.
Kathy was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her dogs “Lily bug” and “Ruger”.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved sister, Pam Kline; and several nieces and nephews including Shawn C. Yost, whom she helped raise and loved as if he was her own son.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joy M. Mowery and brother-in-law, Terry Kline.
At Kathy’s request, there will be no public services. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is entrusted with arrangements.
