Deborah A. Toole, age 66, of Berwick, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Berwick.
Born in Lake Charles, LA on June 8, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James W. Toole and Lorraine (Deroun) Lipovsky. She was a graduate from Bloomsburg High School. She furthered her education by earning her certificate to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a nurse’s aid at Berwick Retirement Village, and later worked for Bloom Mills.
Deborah was a very simple person and a carefree spirit. She enjoyed crafting of all types. She was a social butterfly, who loved her friends and family. Her children were the most important part of her life.
She will be missed by her sons, Travis J. Toole; Zane E. Lamoreaux; daughter, Melissa Roming; sisters, Linda “Darlene” Pridgen and husband Carl, Berwick; Donna Pridgen and husband Marty, North Carolina; Kathy Johnson, Bloomsburg; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help defray her final expenses.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Heller Funeral Home, LLC, Nescopeck is entrusted with arrangements.
