Linda M. Hassenbein, age 64, of Nescopeck passed away on Tuesday May 7, 2024, at her home.
Born in Abington, PA on July 28, 1959, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor M. (Artabor) Latzko. She attended Bishop McDevitt High School in Abington.
She will be greatly missed by her companion Walter Petrachonis of 25 years, Nescopeck; son, Kenneth D. Hassenbein Jr and wife Ashley, Scranton; daughter, Rebecca Hassenbein and fiancé James Denier, Albrightsville; grandchildren, Ayda Rose and Sully Cease; and brother James Latzko. She left a lasting impact on the lives of everyone she met and will be missed by many.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Heller Funeral Home, LLC, 633 E Third St, Nescopeck, with Reverend William Barbee officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the time of service.
