We mournfully announce the passing of Charles R. Thaller, 31, of Berwick, a warrior throughout his life. He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
He was the son of June (Thaller) and Charles Early of Berwick.
Born in Hazleton on September 30, 1990, Charles attended St Johns Reform UCC, Freeland. He graduated from Columbia Montour Vo-Tech where he studied to be a mechanic. After graduation, he was employed at Metropolitan Trucking, LBC Travel and Service, and most recently he worked as a diesel mechanic for Heller Gas. A true tinkerer and MacGyver at heart, he was looking forward to opening his own roadside service in the near future.
He loved being outdoors, entertaining his guests with a cookout, riding his motorcycle, hiking, and LARPing. He was a talented guitar player and would play and sing for his daughter often. He was always known for his sense of humor, good or bad, he would do whatever it to took to make you smile.
He will be greatly missed by his fiancée Christianna with whom he spent the past 10 years; daughter, Stella Leigh Church Thaller; parents, June and Charles Early; brothers: Joseph and wife Beth; Collin; Edward; and sister, Sarah Early; many nieces; Aunt Joanne; uncles; cousins; friends and soon to be in-laws.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Marjorie and Andrew Thaller; as well as many other family members.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Christian Covenant Community Church, 818 Winding Road, Shickshinny, with Pastor Jess Shingler officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service.
